Standard panic and emergency hardware
A versatile range of panic and emergency exit hardware, our market leading push bars and push pads offer an excellent general purpose solution for final exit escape doors. Including EN 1125 panic escape products and EN 179 emergency escape products our 200 series and 300 series can provide a suited solution that works across public access and restricted areas of a building. This is ideal for environments where seperate zones of a building have different needs and budgets. The surface mounted push bars and vertical rods can be cut to size on site to give a perfect fit on each doorset. Predominantly sitting proud on the door face, this range is ideal for use on timber, steel or glazed doors.
Slimline panic and emergency hardware
A European style range of panic and emergency hardware, our narrow style push bar and push pad range offers either robust shoot bolts or low friction Pullman latches. The versatile family includes surface mounted push bars and vertical rods which can be tailored on site to give a customised installation on each doorset. With 38mm wide end units and comprehensive keep options, the 500 Series is perfect for aluminium and UPVC doors, but is also a neat solution for timber and steel doors. Offering both EN 1125 panic products and EN 179 emergency products the 500 Series can provide a compliant range across public access areas and restricted areas of a building like schools and hospitals, where different zones of a building have different needs.
Touch bar panic hardware
Compliant with EN 1125, our touch bars are designed to sit flush to the door. The flush fit means that objects cannot be trapped behind the bar, and the patented lip prevents jamming, making them ideal for use in areas where they may be abused such as schools, universities and hospitals. The low projection of our touch bars ensure that they are also perfect for use in sports halls and gymnasiums, as there is less protrusion which reduces risk of accidental contact. Manufactured in Britain to the highest standards, the elegant design of the 400 series touch bar provides a stylish solution for the most integrated of interiors. This range also features Pullman latches throughout, offering soft and quiet locking.
Touch bar electronic latch retraction panic hardware
Electronic Latch Retraction enables full integration with any access control system to give improved security without compromising on safety. The core elements of the range are identical to the mechanical solution with our 400 touch bar series. The hardware sits flush to the door and can be activated at any time by pushing the touch bar to retract latches/bolts, giving complete peace of mind that safe egress is always possible, even in the event of total power loss. The external operation of the ELR can be controlled by an access control interface unit such as a simple card swipe or biometric reader. This means only pre-approved users will be able to enter the building through that door. When a valid request is made, a concealed motor immediately retracts the bolts to allow access into the building.
High security panic and emergency hardware
The 700 series heavy duty high security system combines the requirements of safety and security with the functions of a panic and emergency exit device. Developed to meet the demands required against a physical attack without compromising safety, this range benefits from heavy duty materials, robust design and excellent production specification. As well as complying with EN 1125 or EN 179 where relevant, 700 Series has been successfully tested, as part of a doorset, to the demanding rigors of LPS 1175 levels 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (intruder resistance test). This is in addition to complying with Sold Secure Silver Standard. Both performance assessments demonstrate the range’s suitability for projects where security is a key consideration.
Concealed escape hardware for aluminium doors
Our range of emergency exit paddle handles for use with mortice locks or concealed vertical rods are ideal for use on aluminium doors in applications where people are familiar with the building layout and hardware. Developed to work with some of our most popular narrow profile mortice lockcases, the range offers solutions that are either euro or round cylinder driven so can be suited with other hardware on site to give a consistent appearance and standardised door preparation. The concealed vertical rod system gives doors a simple and aesthetically pleasing appearance as locking points are hidden within the door structure during door manufacture. Using a paddle handle allows the release to be from either push or pull action of the paddle handle making the range ideal for internal escape doors such as those onto a stairwell which are likely to be inward opening and so require a pull action. Our expertise in aluminium doorset hardware combined with critical EN 179 testing ensures that the paddle handle range is ideal for use in restricted access areas of retail buildings and other commercial applications where aluminum doorsets are popular.
