The Albany story
Nomafa, later on known as Albany Door Systems, was a pioneer and the inventor of high-performance doors and invented the first high-speed fabric roll-up door in Sweden in 1968. The company grew internationally and moved on to deliver doors for several sectors that benefit from rapid opening and closing, such as manufacturing, mining and clean rooms. In 2012, Albany was acquired by ASSA ABLOY Group.
