ASSA ABLOY's CLIQ and ARX: the right combo for EV charger security

CTEK , headquartered in Vikmanshyttan, Dalarna, Sweden, sells battery chargers to car owners all over the world. Their clientele includes both individual consumers and luxury car brands, such as Ferrari, Porsche, and Rolls Royce.

And as the company grew bigger through the acquisition of Chargestorm, Scandinavia's largest producer and developer of electric vehicle charging solutions, they needed to ramp up their security systems for better customer experience.

Centralized key management

CTEK installed ASSA ABLOY’s CLIQ system and with CLIQ Remote, permissions for all keys can be managed from a central computer located anywhere. They also adopted the ARX Alarm system ensuring proper access control and alarms are in place. With the new solutions, CTEK is more confident in managing its spaces and granting tailored access to different businesses on their premises.

"Now, everyone has the right access to the areas they should. All entries are logged, and I feel we have a much better handle on security," said Alenius.
