Environmental priorities for 2030

The 2030 targets are building on the success and the momentum of previous programs, where we are again raising our ambition level:

Science-based targets for Scope 1&2 carbon emissions - reduce by 50 %
Science-based targets for Scope 3 emissions - reduce by 28%
Energy, water, waste intensity - reduce by 30%
Renewable energy - increase by 30%
ISO 14001 of required sites certified to reach 95%

Stepping up our targets to tackle climate change

With a global footprint, we have a global responsibility to do the right thing and play our part to mitigate climate change. With nearly two centuries of expertise in access solutions, we know that if we want to be there for future generations, we need to act boldly now. And respecting our planet is also true to our purpose: helping people experience a safer and more open world.

We have always set ourselves ambitious goals. Our latest five-year plan, which runs to 2025, is our most ambitious program to date and we have received validation by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for our emission reduction targets.
