ALCEA Gateway enables access to remote places.

Many critical infrastructure sites, from telecom towers to power stations, are located far from cities. Reaching them can take hours, but their security must remain reliable. ASSA ABLOY’s ALCEA GATEWAY helps operators manage access from a distance.

The device connects keyless locks at a site to a central management system through a built-in cellular connection. Operators can see in real time whether doors are closed and locks are secured, without visiting the site. When needed, they can also unlock a door remotely.

Combined with keyless locks from ABLOY, GATEWAY eliminates the need for fixed internet connections or smartphones at the site. This is valuable in environments where personal devices cannot be used or where security requirements are especially high.

The solution brings together expertise from across ASSA ABLOY and integrates it into wider security solutions for customers in sectors including telecom, energy, water, transportation, mining, and oil and gas.
