Sunny Xie

Regional Manager, South China

When a hard working employee comes together with a supportive company, the result can be an inspirational career. Sunny Xie’s story is a great example of this.

“I’m the South China Regional Manager of ASSA ABLOY China. On a typical day, I meet with my sales team and discuss business development and sales growth in the region, and visit customers to better understand their needs.

There are five of us in our office in Shenzhen and I usually travel three or four days a month. My team consists of sales people, technical and specification experts. My job is to lead them to win major projects.

I really like our team spirit and cohesion. A group of unified people is a really strong force. My most memorable project is the Ping An Finance Center project, one of the world’s tallest buildings. It really builds our team spirit to be involved in a project like that.

Before I joined the company, I completed a degree in computers and communications at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. I was attracted to ASSA ABLOY because it was a large, professional company and leader in the industry.

My first role traces back to 2005. I was a sales manager of electric locks in Shenzhen, Guangdong province. I held the role for three years before becoming a sales manager for electric locks and hardware. In 2007, I won the Top Sales award and in 2012 I was promoted to my current position.
