Can you tell us about your journey from student to ASSA ABLOY employee?
My journey began when I started researching online for master's thesis projects. I found an opportunity to write it in collaboration with ASSA ABLOY, and while doing it, I realized I really liked the work environment. This was the main reason I wanted to find a way to keep working here after my studies.
What did you study, and what is your role today?
I studied electronics design with a master's focused on power electronics. Today I work as an electronics engineer, a role that offers flexibility. This is a huge advantage as a newly graduated employee, as I get to work across
different aspects of electronics.
What would you tell students who are thinking about applying for a position with us?
Do it, you will have fun! ASSA ABLOY has a good routine for students and, as a result, has created a community where students at the site have a good chance to meet and participate in activities.
