What to expect when you apply to ASSA ABLOY

1. Apply for a job

Browse our open jobs to find one that you are interested in. You will be asked to create a profile, and upload your resume/CV as well as a cover letter.  Make sure these show us how you meet the job requirements.

You can go back and update your profile later if there’s more you want to add. When you’ve submitted your application, we’ll send you an email to confirm we’ve got it.

We will usually get back to you within a month after the application due date to let you know if you have made it to the next stage. Don’t worry if it wasn’t right this time – you are welcome to apply again in future.

2. Review and interview stages

Once we receive your application, we will review if it fits the job requirements and profile. This may take a few weeks and if  your application shows promise, we’ll ask you to come to an interview (either in-person, or on a video or telephone call).

If you are selected for an interview, this is when we get a chance to get to know each other. Come ready to talk about your strengths, skills and passions, and to ask us questions, too.

3. Final steps and offer

After the interview, sometimes that’s where we part ways. If it still feels like a good fit, we will ask you for a second interview, to meet more of the people you would work with. Some roles will also have a test or assessment, and we will ask for references we can check if we make an offer.

It’s always a difficult decision when we get down to our finalists. So if you get an offer from us, it means we think you will fit right in. We talk about how we are always growing, never boring and leading right – and we believe you will help us in that. Should you accept, we will send you an offer and start welcoming you to the team.
