Rita Egbuniwe

Her role consists of supporting the production team to make sure all products are made to specification – she is the eyes of the customer in getting it right the first time to meet and exceed the customer’s expectations.

We asked her what made her choose a career in engineering, “I chose a career in engineering to be part of the team that gets things started and done well to meet and exceed expectations,” she says.

At ASSA ABLOY, we strongly believe in Empowerment, Innovation, Integrity. We asked Rita which of these core values she identifies most with, “Empowerment- I live this value with power to find solutions to the customer’s needs,” she says.

Rita’s favorite part of her job is when she gets to put a smile on a customer’s face, “every day is unique on its own with different internal and external customers, coming with different expectations” she adds.

Outside of work, Rita loves spending time with her family both in the USA as well as those in Nigeria – and she also loves cooking, “homemade food is the best!” she adds.
