Reflecting on his five-year journey, he says, “we’ve seen so much growth; it’s as if we got to observe 10 years’ worth of development in just five years.”

Giap is excited about the expansion of ASSA ABLOY Vietnam with the construction of a new factory in Hai Phong city. So, his current focus is to secure talent for the new facility.

"We have many young talents in Vietnam, and they are very hardworking," Giap notes. And going forward, he and his team want to increase their efforts on talent development and retention with engagement activities to keep building a more committed team.

His vision for ASSA ABLOY Vietnam is not just about operational success but also about contributing to the country's development and creating career opportunities.

Giap lives in Hanoi with his wife, two daughters and a son. Despite the demands of his job, he tries to spend as much time with his children as possible. And he always looks forward to the weekends because then he can cook meals for his family.

“One of my favorite things is when I go out to eat, I will note down the dishes I really like. Then I try them at home,” he says.
