ABLOY Electric Locks are ideal for panic and emergency escape doors, meeting the standards for a safe and reliable emergency evacuation plan. The standards directly related to life safety are: EN179 Emergency Escape for when the building occupants are aware of the building environment, and EN1125 Panic Escape for environments used by the general public. Together with ABLOY EXIT, ABLOY Electric Locks offer a comprehensive solution to keep people safe in your buildings every day, in all situations.
Lock types
The ABLOY Electric Lock range is available in two types, single point and multipoint. Lock cases are available in a variety of backsets and case depths and can be installed on both solid and profile doors. Retrofitting is easy as ABLOY Electric Locks are conveniently designed to fit seamlessly and flush into the door frame of both new and existing buildings.
By installing solenoid or motorised locks, doors can have a similar appearance to mechanically operated doors in the same building, whilst providing the functionality of an access control door.
