EL404 - Push/pull locks

The EL404 high-security mortise locks with solenoid are designed to work with access control systems and automatic doors.

The push/pull function allows the door to be opened simply by pushing or pulling, without having to lower the handle.

They have a daytime mode (in which the lock remains unlocked at all times) and a night-time security mode (in which the lock automatically locks when the door is closed). Mechanical opening via cylinder is always possible. 

They are recommended for doors subject to medium-high user traffic. Push/pull locks are typically used on entrance doors to commercial premises, hospitals, educational facilities and residential buildings.

They are available in two versions:

• Normally locked version: the lock is always unlocked when the power is on.
• Normally unlocked version: the lock is always unlocked when the power is off.

The symmetrical double-action latch allows use on right and left-hand doors. The locks are available with an adjustable entry from 25 to 35 mm and have a flat forend.
