Action plan makes customer premises safer

Entrance systems worker in front of car

Many accidents in our customers’ industrial environments happen in the loading bay area at logistics companies, warehouses and production facilities. It is a potentially dangerous environment where large vehicles, heavy equipment and people are constantly on the move.

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems created a safety package to help customers to identify the biggest risks and what activities can be done to mitigate them. Preventive actions range from training, installing safety equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and fulfilling regulatory requirements.

With the safety package as a basis we work together with our customers to increase the safety in their operations. The measures involve identifying hazards and risks and then carrying out actions to mitigate them. The solutions range from installing traffic lights to truck restraint systems that prevent trucks from driving away while goods are being unloaded.
