ASSA ABLOY: Final agreement signed regarding the acquisition of the French Fichet Bauche lock division
A final agreement has now been signed. In addition was signed a co-operation agreement covering certain products that will be sold through the lock division's franchise distributors. The agreement includes the right for the lock division to use the brand name Fichet. The purchase price for a debt free company is based on a fixed price of FFR 185 M and an additional price based on the company's performance in 1999. The French competition authority is informed about the transaction.
