ASSA Modular 2000 Scandinavian special sashlock
Our ASSA 2000 special sashlock is a Modular Scandinavian mortice sashlock, designed for use on external doors on houses. The lockcase has been rigorously cycle tested to 2.3 million operations, far exceeding the EN 12209 standard requirement of 200,000 cycles, guaranteeing exceptional durability and low whole-life costs. Designed for secure and versatile access control, this sashlock supports cylinder master keying and allows for straightforward cylinder replacement in the event of lost or stolen keys. The heavy sprung follower ensures smooth operation even with unsprung furniture and is engineered to withstand the demands of constant use over time. The lockcase offers a choice of key, turn, or handle arrangements, with the key easily removable in both the locked and unlocked positions. For installation flexibility, it is available with either a radius faceplate for CNC-machined door preparations or a square faceplate for on-site fitting. At its core, the sashlock features a guided 21mm hardened steel laminated deadbolt, offering outstanding resistance to attack and smooth, dependable locking. It can be operated with a 90° turn of the key for standard applications or a full 360° turn for high-security requirements. The latch is finished in bright zinc, while the deadbolt is constructed from hardened steel with a bright zinc finish for strength and corrosion resistance.
