What is KESO eCLIQ?
KESO eCLIQ is an electronic locking system in which keys and cylinders communicate with each other via integrated microchips. Unlike mechanical locking systems, authorization takes place electronically: the key stores the information about which doors it can open and when. A standard button cell battery in the key supplies the energy for the locking process. No wiring or mains connections are required.

The KESO eCLIQ system consists of four main components that are perfectly coordinated with each other: keys, locking cylinders, software, and programming devices.

- Battery life time of around ten years and up to 100,000 locking cycles
- Built-in standard battery that is easy to replace when needed
- Acoustic signals and integrated LED function indicator for access authorization and time window
- Acoustic end-of-life warning from the key or via the wall programming device
- Optional BLE Key Connect, which receives authorization updates via the CLIQ Connect app
