The municipality of Bachenbülach secures its doors with KESO eCLIQ

Challenge

The municipality of Bachenbülach is part of the district of Bülach in the canton of Zurich and has over 4,000 residents. A locking solution that meets a very high security standard was required to replace the locking system on the municipal administrative building and school. Due to the numerous user groups as well as external persons and associations, easy management of the access authorizations was required. 

Solution

Bachenbülach opted for the KESO eCLIQ locking system to secure its municipal administrative building. The locking system was mainly chosen for the fact that it offers modern management with a high degree of flexibility. Access authorizations can be defined quickly and easily with KESO eCLIQ. Lost keys are simply disabled. It is also possible to limit authorizations to certain times and areas of the school. The system is managed using the CLIQ Local Manager software. In addition to the facility manager, the school itself has access to the system.

A total of 409* system-relevant doors were equipped with KESO eCLIQ, and around 431* keys were distributed. No wiring was required for the installation of the electronic cylinders, which resulted in low installation costs. The wide range of cylinder types is another special advantage of the locking system.

The municipal administrative building and the first wings of the school are now well protected in every respect. The other existing school properties will also be upgraded to the eCLIQ system in the next stages of renovation. Further projects with the municipality are already being planned.
