How does QiAccess™ work?
The QiAccess system solves a problem as old as the door itself. By creating real-time access it provides secure entry for the right person, at the right time.
The locks are opened from the QiAccess mobile app or with other credentials depending on preference: intuitive and easy to use. Access rights are securely stored on the user’s device and updated automatically upon login or changes, ensuring that locks can be operated even without network connectivity.
In situations where immediate access is required for people outside the team, for example in case of emergency, it is possible to grant temporary access using a one-time key via QiAccess app, SMS link, PIN-code or remote online unlocking.
Importantly, the digital keys created for different situations cannot be shared with anyone else. Every form of access is highly secure and managed by a designated operator.

Planned acess
Scheduled or automated access according to schedule
- An administrator schedules a visit for a client and assigns it to the team members who will carry out the visit.
- Personal access is automatically created for the assigned team members based on the plan.
- A team member arrives and unlocks the client’s door using the QiAccess app.
- When leaving, the team member locks the door using the QiAccess app.
- The access event is logged, providing full transparency and traceability.
- If the plan changes, access rights can easily be updated centrally by the administrator.
Unplanned access
Temporary access in case of emergency
- The client activates the personal safety alarm
via the telecare alarm unit. - The operator identifies the digital lock at
the client’s door. - A digital one-time key or PIN code is sent to the emergency team.
- At the client’s location, the door is unlocked using the one-time key, the PIN code, or remotely by the operator.
- After the intervention, the emergency team locks the door when leaving.
- All information is logged in QiAccess or the preferred system for easy follow-up.
- The client activates the personal safety alarm
