Commercial Training Programme
The ASSA ABLOY New Zealand Commercial Training Program is a program developed for people who are new to the commercial side of the door hardware industry and has been specifically developed for new employees and customers those with up to 1 year experience in working with ASSA ABLOY’s commercial door hardware products.
With over 25,000 different items in our Australasian commercial door hardware range alone and the growing complexities of Building Codes, ASSA ABLOY Standards and other regulations is committed to providing for our products.
The program includes exercises using product catalogues as references and hands on work with the products as well as important information regarding standards, regulations and building codes.
With the knowledge you will gain during the Commercial Training Program, you will be better equipped to choose the right products across a range of applications.
The ASSA ABLOY Commercial Training Program covers:
- Mortice locks
- Door furniture
- Panic exit devices
- Door closers
- Electro-mechanical products including access control
- Yale YDM7220 Series Locks
- Henderson Sliding and Folding Systems
The Commercial Training Program will provide:
- A thorough understanding of the impacts of regulations on selection of door hardware
- Hands on experience working with the products to perform common set-up and adjustments
- Practical experience working with the online catalogue to resolve common questions and ascertain part numbers for specific products
- Important information regarding suitability of products to particular applications
- Key features of each product range
- Overview of the installation process
- Overview of the range of accessories and options in each product group
- Experience in the range of functions available within the different product groups
- Opportunities for discussion with our trainers who have many years of experience working with the products and marketplace
Duration
The Commercial Training Program is one full day of face-to-face training from 9.00am to 4.00pm
