Regional CDL Truck Driver

Amarr is hiring an experienced, motivated CDL driver to join our distribution center in Orlando, FL as a full time team member.  This is the ideal position for the person who loves to contribute to the success of a team as well as provide safe, expedient deliveries to our distribution network and customers. Deliveries are in Florida with the exception of the Panhandle (unless necessary).

In this position you will:

  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle three to five days a week within the region.
  • Provide deliveries to customers and other Amarr Door Centers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
  • Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
  • Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks.
  • Assist with distribution center warehousing tasks such as unloading factory deliveries and other inbound freight, as well as loading dock customers.
  • Assist in the completion of production orders if not on the road.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid CDL license, be at least 21 years old, and possess a clean driving record.
  • 3-5 years + experience driving a commercial vehicle.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 50-75 lb.
  • Ability to learn product and work under pressure.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate power tools.
  • Good customer service skills.

The Details:

This position is Monday – Friday…no weekends!! The pay rate starts at $35 based on experience.
