Supply Chain Manager
We are searching for a SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
As a Supply Chain Manager you will lead the purchasing, logistics and inventory control activities of indirect and direct material in ASSA ABLOY Bulgaria.
The Supply Chain Manager is the primary point of contact for any information from Procurement, Inventory control and Logistics areas.
The Supply Chain Manager is ultimately responsible to lead and develop the procurement and logistics team, develop and execute purchasing and inventory control strategies in line with ASSA ABLOY expectations. Another responsibility for the Supply Chain Manager will be also e-Procurement and e-Planning development with a significant increase of the proportion of seamless purchasing transactions.
Main responsibilities
· Meeting yearly KPI targets - DIR and IND supplier reduction, DIR and IND Savings, Inventory reduction etc.
· Suppliers' management - suppliers’ agreements, consolidation, price and payment terms negotiation and performance.
· Initiating, driving and tracking improvements in the procurement of indirect and direct materials as well as developing best in class supply management
· Forecasting levels of demand for services and products.
· Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value delivery schedules and quality.
· EDI order management implementation and maintenance.
· Inventory optimization and DDMP processes implementation.
· Logistics processes optimization.
· Team management and development.
· Initiating and conducting re-sourcing, insourcing and outsourcing activities.
· Close cooperation with the plant operations, R&D and sales teams

You have
• Master’s degree in procurement, engineering or economics
• Minimum 5 years of Procurement experience preferably in an international business environment with minimum 3 years in the managerial role
• Commercial awareness
• Result oriented
• The ability to adapt to different client needs and to develop and maintain successful working relationships
• An excellent standard of numeracy in order to analyse facts and figures
• A flair for negotiation and networking
• The ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines
• A confident and mature approach
• Ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities
• Analytical and critical thinking
• Self-starter with good organizational skills
• Leadership skills
• Computer skills including Microsoft Windows Office, Excellent command in Excel and Data Base programs
• Fluency in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken.
