This is a full-time, on-site position based out of our Carlstadt, New Jersey manufacturing facility … where precision, responsiveness, and execution matter every day in custom commercial doors and frames.

What would you do as our Technical Order Processing Supervisor?

You will oversee the day‑to‑day execution of technical order processing activities, supervising a team responsible for configuring engineered‑to‑order products. Your focus will be on accuracy, workflow management, adherence to standards, and timely issue resolution within established systems and processes.

You will play a critical role in ensuring orders are processed correctly and efficiently, while escalating trends, constraints, or recurring issues to management.

You would also:

  • Supervise daily work assignments, workload distribution, and schedule adherence
  • Coach and support team members to meet accuracy, quality, and productivity standards
  • Review and ensure orders align with architectural drawings, specifications, and production capabilities
  • Serve as a first‑level escalation point for order questions, discrepancies, and customer issues
  • Track key metrics related to quality, accuracy, and throughput, and report trends or risks
  • Coordinate with engineering, production, sales, and customer service to resolve order‑related issues
  • Support system and process improvement initiatives by identifying execution gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure team compliance with safety requirements, policies, and standard work practices
  • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and collaborative working environment
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate governance policies, AADG programs and policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct 

 

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma/GED required / Bachelor’s in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and engineering or production documentation
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
  • Effective communicator who can translate technical details clearly to team members and partners
  • Hands‑on, approachable leadership style with a focus on daily execution and team support
  • Prior experience in metal forming, commercial construction, or engineered products manufacturing is a plus

 

Compensation Range: $90,000 and $97,500 depending on background and experience
