What you would do as our Senior FP&A Analyst
The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for overseeing all financial controlling activities within the assigned business domains and ensuring high-quality financial steering, transparency and compliance. This role also provides expert support for project controlling, incl. financial planning, tracking, analysis and risk management. In addition, the Senior Financial Controller acts as a team lead for the local finance team, ensuring effective collaboration across finance and cross-functional stakeholders.
You would also:
- Domain financial controlling, quarterly forecast and final plan for business domains and controlling & Cost Management – monitor actuals vs FC/FP, analyze deviations and discuss corrective for the largest company and domains( Holding Austria)
- Prepare monthly performance reports and dashboards for senior management – domains and ad hoc
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies and financial governance
- Serve as financial partner for project managers and cross-functional teams. Maintain financial project plans, analyze project performance vs plan; support business cases and post-investment reviews
- Lead and mentor the local finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration and continuous learning and ensure timely delivery of all finance deliverables (closing, reporting, audits)
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A or financial analysis, strong knowledge of financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, closing, reporting) and has experience in project controlling.
- Has leadership experience, including leading small to medium-sized teams and has background in international corporate environments preferred.
- Has advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, strong knowledge of ERP systems and BI tools and also solid understanding of budget cycles, cost-center accounting, forecasting and variance analysis; Familiarity with IFRS vs local GAAP.
- Has strong analytical skills and ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations, ability to communicate complex financial topics in a clear, business-friendly manner and has high level of integrity, accuracy and accountability.
- Is proactive, structured and reliable working style, has strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
