We’re expanding our Door Security Solutions Group and seeking to hire a Recruiter who will work to build sales teams across multiple territories.

This position is long-term contract (12-month) opportunity which will sit on-site in either New Haven or Berlin, CT reporting to the HR Manager.   

 

What you will be doing 

 

  • Manage a requisition workload of 20+ positions at any given time with end-to-end recruitment; conduct proactive sourcing; responsible for posting jobs; networks and sources across multiple candidate development channels; advise hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Establish sales and business development recruiting requirements by meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Interview candidates; determines applicant qualifications by pre-screening resumes, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Build applicant sources using LinkedIn and through Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Implement creative recruiting strategies to create a qualified and diverse candidate pool.
  • Obtain applications, bringing forth concerns related to information provided; uploads applications as required within online ATS.
  • Identify opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency by adopting standards using SuccessFactors (ATS) and processes that accelerate the speed and effectiveness of our recruiting team.
  • Partners with multiple stakeholders in the Human Resources department and hiring managers to lead a positive end-to-end candidate experience.
  • Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures required and complies with relevant legal mandates.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of corporate recruitment experience, preferably supporting sales functions.
  • Must have hands‑on expertise in advanced sourcing methods, including Boolean search, Google X‑ray sourcing, LinkedIn and the effective use of modern recruiting tools and technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead difficult conversations and adapt communication styles to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering effective, scalable solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Commitment to upholding compliance standards and company values.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
