Graphic Designer

Job Title:         Graphic Designer – 12 months fixed term

Purpose of the role

This role is ideal for a highly organised designer with the ability to manage a variety of digital and print marketing tasks. Working within a collaborative marketing team, you’ll contribute to projects including print design, social media publishing, and content management. Responsibilities include creating advertisements, brochures, product packaging, displays, and brand communications.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Designing visually appealing digital and print marketing materials (brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, social media graphics).
  • Efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing team and other departments, reporting progress and ensuring timely task completion.
  • Generating creative ideas and concepts, emphasising interactive design elements.
  • Upholding and using brand guidelines to ensure design consistency across all materials.
  • Demonstrating illustrative skills with sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
  • Using innovation to refine a design brief within time and cost constraints.

 

 

Skills, competencies, qualifications, and personal experience

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Demonstrates a systematic, organised, and accurate approach to tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivation, and a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to manage projects from initiation to completion, with attention to detail.
  • Strong creative outlook and ability to generate fresh ideas.
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities and meets deadlines consistently.
  • Holds a recognised industry qualification or relevant experience in graphic design.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Effective team player with the ability to take initiative when required.
