Aesthetic facade cladding

Thanks to the facade cladding, an aesthetically attractive building has been created. With a striking roof edge, special use of color and spacious windows, it has a unique and distinctive appearance. Crane tracks and other installations determining choices

Wendy Mandiraci, Product Account Manager at ASSA ABLOY, explains the process at project Kickersbloem: “Based on the customer's specific questions, we conducted a thorough analysis to determine how our solutions could best be applied. This included both Building Information Management (BIM) and technical advice to ensure that all doors would fit perfectly within the façade, taking into account factors such as crane tracks and other installations.” 

Functional design 

Mandiraci continues: “Our added value lay mainly in the engineering around the crane track. It was important that the overhead doors be able to move freely, without being obstructed by the crane track. Moreover, we had to take into account the positioning of the doors on the sunny side, in combination with a dark color. Other important factors were the height of the doors and the vertical elevator, both of which affect the functionality and design of the project.”
