Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)

In 2007, ASSA ABLOY announced its first sustainability program. Transparency in sustainable development in construction is a priority for the Group and our clients increasingly consider the environmental impact of products, which is why ASSA ABLOY is continuously working to publish EPDs.

Environmental declarations allow to estimate the carbon footprint of a product based on a detailed Lifecycle Assessment, verified by an accredited and independent third party.

The declarations do not guarantee that the product is energy efficient or sustainable, but they allow clients to compare products with the same function.
