Yeti cylinder locks are suitable for installation in internal as well as external doors, in gateways, gates, roller blinds and in other closing systems based on cam locks.

However, when the lock is used in external doors, its exposure to weather conditions will require more frequent maintenance using appropriate means. Yeti lock inserts can also be used as electromechanical elements in electric systems - in this case the cam operates as a switch.

As in most lock inserts available on the market, the strike plates of Yeti lock inserts are made of brass. The product range also includes locks with a satin nickel finish, which gives them a more aesthetic appearance and eliminates the effect of the patination of copper.
