Endweld Operator
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for an Endweld Operator. This position will be responsible for the off-loading and part inspection of product being produced and placing it in proper rack to insure continuous operation during the shift. This will be a weekend position Friday - Sunday, 5:00am - 5:00pm.
What you will be doing:
- Safety, quality, priorities above all
- Focus on the keeping the mill operational
- Maintain clean, safe ,organized work area, 5S
- Assist in the change over processes of the mill.
- TPM of process and equipment in the area
- Coordinate daily and weekly activities with department supervisor
- Perform visual quality checks for straightness, galv integrity, length to meet quality requirements
- Able to work with maintenance hands on to get issues resolved in a timely manner
- Focus on mill production efficiency, problem resolution, cost saving opportunities.
The skills and experience you need:
Education:
- High school or equivalent
Experience:
- Experience in using special measuring devices, calipers, tape measure.
- Must be able to read part drawings to perform product inspections.
- Roll Tooling experience with set ups and change over.
- Demonstrated ability to meet negotiated time frames
- Forklift
Other:
- Good communication skills with coworkers to insure continuous flow of the mill
- Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
- Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities.
This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
