Challenge

A modern commercial building has been built on Menznauerstrasse in Willisau that brings together various businesses under one roof. For the companies in the building, secure yet simple access control was essential, both for employees and customers.

The owner, in turn, needed a system that could be easily managed and flexibly adapted to changing space requirements. In particular, the owner wanted it to be easy to sublet or temporarily lease office spaces when needed, without having to adjust the access system each time or manage complicated key handovers.

Solution

With the SMARTair access control system from ASSA ABLOY (Schweiz) AG, a solution was implemented that optimally combines security and flexibility. Access authorizations can be centrally managed, quickly assigned, and adjusted at any time – ideal for a building with multiple independent users.

Time-controlled openings can be set up for certain areas so that customers and visitors can also gain access to defined spaces during regular business hours without an identification medium. 

SMARTair also offers a high level of security: if an identification medium is lost, it can be blocked immediately. This reliably prevents unauthorized access without having to replace cylinders and keys.
