KESO 8000Ω³: the new high-security locking system
The new KESO 8000Ω³ is the next-generation high-security system. It combines two active copy protection mechanisms, is more economical than the previous KESO 8000Ω² series, and offers extended patent protection until 2044.
The process-optimized system is suitable for residential buildings, companies, hospitals, and public institutions. It can be flexibly adapted to different security requirements and is characterized by its proven Swiss quality.
When does a mechanical high-security locking cylinder make sense?
A mechanical high-security locking cylinder protects doors where there are increased security requirements: for apartment doors and house front doors, commercial properties, or public facilities.
There are three key security features:
- Copy protection: only authorized key copies with a security card are possible
- Mechanical protection: resistance to drilling, pulling out, and breaking
- Certified quality: compliance with recognized standards such as VdS and EN 1303
For complex locking systems in hospitals, universities, or apartment buildings, the modular design is also important. It enables flexible expansions and individual security levels depending on the door area.

KESO 8000Ω³ combines proven Swiss quality with innovative security technology:
- Double active copy protection: significantly more difficult to copy keys thanks to new combination of proven protection mechanisms

Long-term investment protection until 2044
KESO 8000Ω³ offers ten more years of patent protection than the predecessor series, specifically until 2044. Every blank is logged, making unauthorized key copying significantly more difficult.
The previous KESO 8000Ω² is still available for expansions and retrofits. Only Ω³ is supplied for new plant installations in the KESO 8000 system.

How does double active copy protection work?
KESO 8000Ω³ combines the copy protection technologies of KESO 8000Ω and KESO 8000Ω² for the first time. Each key has movable elements that are scanned several times in the cylinder when inserted.
This double security makes unauthorized copying much more difficult.

Can be combined mechatronically and electronically
KESO 8000Ω³ is compatible with mechatronic and electronic components of the KESO Integra platform. Mechatronics add another security level to the mechanical locking cylinder.
KESO 8000Ω³ is also suitable for combination with electronic locking and access systems or badge systems. With an integrated RFID chip in the key, you can use time recording systems or control electronic access systems. The color caps are available in 13 colors.
