Reporting to the Territory Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for protecting and growing existing revenue, expanding HID’s installed base market share, and strengthening product selection policies across an assigned territory. This role focuses on strategic account management, relationship development, and identifying new project opportunities at multiple levels within customer organizations. The Regional Sales Manager works closely with customers and internal teams to advance HID Global’s market position while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The role requires effective management of sales activities, technical support, and service-related challenges associated with HID products and solutions.

As our Regional Sales Manager, Southeast, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Promoting and selling HID products and services to existing and new customers and channel partners.
  • Identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships within all assigned customer accounts, both direct and indirect.
  • Identifying and actively participating in major project opportunities throughout the assigned territory.
  • Providing technical and tactical sales support through project completion.
  • Delivering technical, applications, and product training for existing and new HID solutions across multiple customer functions, including Sales, Service/Operations, Procurement, and Management.
  • Tracking, managing, and reporting leads, opportunities, and sales activity using Salesforce (CMS).
  • Preparing and delivering professional presentations to assigned accounts as required.
  • Developing and executing quarterly and annual business plans for the assigned territory.
  • Monitoring and achieving monthly and quarterly new business and revenue goals.
  • Measuring and monitoring HID market share penetration within the territory.
  • Initiating proactive outreach to existing and prospective customers to assess needs and expand HID solution adoption.
  • Participating in local, regional, and national security trade shows, customer events, and industry forums as directed.
  • Participating in regularly scheduled sales meetings and teleconferences.
  • Collaborating closely with NAM PACS Regional Sales team members to identify growth opportunities, process improvements, and development needs.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure a high-quality customer experience.

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • BA/BS degree in a related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years) in the physical security industry.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote sales environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Ability to travel within and outside the assigned territory as required
  • Experience within the physical access control, IoT, and/or cloud services markets.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex accounts and large project opportunities.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range does not account for geographic differentials based on the location where the position may be filled. At HID, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. Final compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.

 

The base salary in the United States is $93,000 to $108,000. The OTE is up to $180,000.
