New Equipment Sales Consultant - Distribution

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems (Pedestrian) is a global leader in access solutions, renowned for our innovation, integrity, and commitment to quality.

 

We’re seeking a motivated and hands-on Sales Consultant – Distribution to join our Queensland team. This role is focused on driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding our presence across distributor and reseller networks.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Grow sales across parts, components, and supply-only operators.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, agents, installers, and resellers.
  • Identify new opportunities in refurbishment, replacement, and retrofit markets.
  • Deliver proactive customer engagement through visits, calls, virtual meetings, and product demos.
  • Provide accurate technical guidance and support customers through the specification process.
  • Promote AAES solutions, including upgrades, retrofit kits, and value-added bundles.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales, specification, or similar commercial roles.
  • Background in building materials, service, or installation industries (advantageous).
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to interpret measurements, drawings, and electromechanical components.
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and margin discipline.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and confident working independently.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine “can-do” attitude.
