ASSA ABLOY LECTA
Area of Usage
ASSA ABLOY LECTA is a cabinet lock developed for locking various types of boxes, such as medicine cabinets or delivery boxes. The lock is intended for use in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Features
ASSA ABLOY LECTA is mounted on the frame side of the cabinet and the appropriate locking hook is mounted on the cabinet door. From the front, the lock is symmetrical, which allows installation for both right- and left-hung cabinets, and is reversible depending on whether you want the cable to exit the lock upwards or downwards.
ASSA ABLOY LECTA is powered by 5V or 12V DC. The lock is connected by cable to an overhead system, such as a pass system or other solution.
ASSA ABLOY LECTA also contains a microswitch to indicate whether the lock is in the closed or open position.
ASSA ABLOY LECTA is designed to withstand up to 8 kN of pull-out force, provided that the door, cabinet and hook are of equivalent strength.
Function
To lock, the user pushes the door towards the cabinet.
The ASSA ABLOY LECTA will then mechanically lock automatically.
To open, the ASSA ABLOY LECTA is supplied with 5V or 12V, which opens and pushes the door open with the help of a pre-tensioned spring.
The ASSA ABLOY LECTA also has a mechanical override that
enables opening.
