Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Multi-Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments across both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. You will take ownership of our AWS Organization and Azure Subscription governance, drive security and compliance through proactive monitoring of CloudTrail and Azure Activity Logs, and deliver robust automation solutions using Python, AWS Lambda, and CloudFormation.

This is a hands-on technical role that requires deep expertise across both cloud platforms, a strong security mindset, and the ability to design scalable, cost-optimized, and well-governed cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Organization & Governance

  • Design, manage, and optimize multi-account AWS Organization structures using AWS Control Tower and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
  • Implement and enforce account-level guardrails, IAM policies, and permission boundaries across all AWS accounts.
  • Manage AWS Organization Units (OUs), consolidated billing, and cross-account access strategies.

Azure Subscription Management

  • Administer and govern Azure Subscriptions, Management Groups, and Resource Groups at enterprise scale.
  • Implement Azure Policy, RBAC, and Blueprints to enforce compliance across all Azure environments.
  • Manage Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), service principals, and managed identities.
  • Oversee Azure cost management, tagging strategies, and subscription-level budget controls.

Security Monitoring & Compliance

  • Configure, monitor, and analyze AWS CloudTrail logs to detect and respond to anomalous API activity and security events.
  • Manage Azure Monitor and Azure Activity Logs to track resource changes and enforce audit trails.
  • Integrate CloudTrail and Activity Log data with SIEM tools in Datadog for centralized security monitoring.
  • Build automated alerting pipelines for security incidents, unauthorized access, and compliance violations.
  • Conduct regular security reviews and ensure adherence to CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and cloud-native security frameworks.

Serverless & Automation Engineering - Design, develop, and deploy AWS Lambda functions for event-driven automation, scheduled jobs, and infrastructure operations. Python preferred

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Cloud Formation, CDK

Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
  • Minimum 5+ years of deep, production-level experience with AWS services and AWS Organizations.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience managing Azure Subscriptions at enterprise scale.
  • Proven track record of operating in regulated, multi-account, multi-subscription cloud environments.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty (highly advantageous).
