Quality Inspector
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Carry on In process inspection of the door manufacturing processes.
- Check and verify the dimensions of sheet metals as per engineering drawing and report any variation.
- Check and verify the welding of metals as per AWS / ASME section 9 and report any deviation.
- Prepare Quality inspection reports.
- Report Non-Conformance products and processes.
- Conduct supplier visits and check the quality of products at supplier side.
- Enforce quality improvement and quality culture within the production activities
- Follow up improvement activities, and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are in place
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in sheet metal or welding inspection
- Door manufacturing experience preferred
- Welding inspector certification preferred
- Can read and understand technical drawings
