Marketing Summer Intern
Job Summary
The ASSA BLOY Canada Residential Marketing Intern is responsible for assisting the Canadian Marketing team with active projects, business development, and other business priorities. This individual will have the opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for a global residential building products company. The internship is 3 months in length, June-August.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with Brand Marketing, Channel Marketing, eCommerce and Sales to execute marketing plan initiatives for Weiser lock and Pfister faucet brands in the Canadian retail and wholesale markets
- Support product commercialization and go-to-market initiatives
- Prepare Creative Requests to coordinate creation of assigned packaging and commercial materials
- Coordinate meeting materials for customer product collaboration, line reviews and business reviews
- Review and propose recommendations for online content development
- Other tasks as assigned
Education and Experience Profile
- Recently completed or is in their senior year of a post-secondary Marketing/Business degree
- Able to work a typical 40-hour work week in a hybrid office environment
- Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
Desired Qualifications/Skills
- Computer literate on all major business software packages
- Effective written and oral communicator and presenter
- Strong emphasis on achieving goals and deadlines
- Proactive organization and prioritization skills
- Operates with a sense of urgency
Work Environment:
Hybrid work schedule (in office required Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Pay Range:
$18-$23 per hour.
