Finance Manager
Responsibilities/Accountability:
- Manage day-to-day finance operations for business units
- Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting process in adherence to the reporting calendar
- Conduct budget and forecast review to align with business strategy with financial planning in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reporting
- Lead initiatives in driving product/project margin improvement, reduce working capital burn through improve inventory turn and reduce DSO & bad debts
- Principal driver of internal controls throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with ASSA ABLOY policies and guidelines, and local regulations
- Establish and maintain systems and controls; verify the integrity of all automated systems, processed and data
- Conduct regular Balance Sheet reviews and implement mitigation actions to minimize the financial exposure
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, corporate secretary & ensure full statutory, accounting, tax & legal compliance
- Support HR, logistics & office administration including the general management and smooth running of the day-to-day operations
- Support Management team in the evaluation of acquisition and business development opportunities
- Provide accounting leadership in integrating current and future acquisitions
- Assist in Hong Kong & Taiwan split in AX
- Work closely with Regional Tax team to ensure the most cost effective business model for Taiwan
- Undertake any adhoc projects as and when required by the Management
- Any other tasks assigned by the Company from time to time
- Cultivate strong working relationships within GCSEA Finance and all relevant regional within the Group
- Lead with a strong compliance and integrity mindset
Skills required:
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Proactive, Self-motivated, independent with good interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines and pressure
- Able to handle full set of accounts, preferably using Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Good experience in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reporting
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Demonstrated success in a project leadership role, with the strong ability to influence key stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communciation skilss
- Familiar with local taxation regulations, corporate tax reporting standards, local laws and regulations
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Change agent and embrace process changes
Qualification Criteria:
- CA - Preferred. Else, CFA / MBA - Finance after accounting major
- 8-10 years' relevant experience in Business / Finance Controlling and work closely with business
