Leonit successfully completed his apprenticeship last year and is now an integral part of our team. His journey with us began in December 2021 with an internship, during which he was able to gain initial insights. He then started his apprenticeship with us in August 2022 and continuously developed both professionally and personally during this time. His answers show how much commitment and willingness to learn he mastered on this journey and what steps have shaped him from learner to employee.

What was your favorite moment during the time of your apprenticeship?

The best moment of my apprenticeship time was when I learned that I had passed my apprenticeship.

Which sentence describes you as a learner, which one as an employee?

As an apprentice, I made a great effort to learn new things and to implement them. As an employee, I work carefully and take responsibility for my tasks.

What makes you most proud when you look back on your journey?

It makes me proud that I took on responsibility, learned a lot and completed my apprenticeship successfully.

How did you experience the transition from learner to employee?

The transition to being an employee went well. I have always been treated well both as a learner and as an employee. Of course, the new role also brings greater responsibility.

What skills did you develop during your apprenticeship that are particularly valuable today?

Because I was able to go through all departments during my apprenticeship, I am familiar with all logistical work processes and can flexibly help where support is needed.

What made it easier – or more difficult – for you to get started in your new role?

Rebuilding our Planet warehouse last year was a big challenge we worked on together. At the same time, both I and the entire team were motivated to complete this task successfully.

What support did you particularly appreciate on your journey?

Our trainers were always very friendly, had a lot of patience with us and taught us a lot. I particularly appreciated their trust in us.
