What you would do as our SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect with a specialism in Employee Central (EC) to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of our core HR technology landscape. You will act as the bridge between HR business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business requirements into scalable, best-practice SuccessFactors solutions.
With 5-6 years of hands-on SuccessFactors experience, you will bring deep functional and configuration expertise in Employee Central, alongside a solid understanding of the wider SuccessFactors suite and its integration points.
You would also:
- Lead end-to-end solution design for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, ensuring alignment with business requirements, HR strategy, and SAP best practices and design and document the overall solution architecture, including data models, workflows, business rules, role-based permissions (RBP), and integration touchpoints.
- Evaluate business requirements and advise on standard functionality vs. customisation, always favouring configuration over custom development where possible and produce solution design documents, configuration workbooks, and architecture diagrams to a high standard.
- Configure Employee Central, Support data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, and import templates and Lead or support iterative build cycles, system testing, UAT, and cutover activities.
- Define integration architecture between Employee Central and downstream/upstream systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, finance) using SAP Integration Suite (CPI/BTP), APIs, and Integration Center and Work closely with integration developers to ensure accurate data flows and error-handling processes and Champion data quality, data governance, and GDPR/data privacy compliance across the HR technology landscape.
- Act as the trusted advisor to Group and business leadership on SuccessFactors capabilities, roadmap, and release management, Run workshops to gather and validate requirements, demo solutions, and drive design decisions and Assess the impact of SAP's bi-annual releases (1H/2H) and recommend adoption of new features.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has 5-6 years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle Employee Central implementations (design through go-live) and is SAP Certified Associate – SuccessFactors Employee Central Core.
- Has strong expertise in: Employee Central data models (Succession Data Model, Corporate Data Model, CSF), MDF objects, business rules, and workflow configuration, position Management and organisational structures and Role-Based Permissions design and administration.
- Has working knowledge of Employee Central integration patterns (Integration Center, OData APIs, Boomi) and experience producing solution architecture documentation, configuration workbooks, and functional specifications and has knowledge of SAP HCM (on-premise) and hybrid landscape migration scenarios.
- Understands of HR processes across the hire-to-retire lifecycle (onboarding, job changes, global mobility, terminations), has strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills and experience working in Agile and/or SAP Activate delivery methodologies.
- Is fluent in English.
