About the Role
We’re looking for an Accounting Analyst and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team in Victoria, BC (onsite). Reporting to the VP Finance, you will own day-to-day accounts receivable activities for our electronic locks business, ensuring accurate billing, effective collections, and strong controls. You’ll also support financial analysis and reporting, working closely with teams across Canada and the U.S.

About You
You are a detail-oriented finance professional who balances accuracy with strong communication. You take ownership, work independently, and build effective relationships with both customers and internal teams.

What you’ll bring:
• Accounting diploma or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role
• Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and dispute resolution skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (SAP an asset)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Confident, professional communication with customers

Key responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable for the electronic locks business, including collections and account reconciliation
• Work with shared services (U.S.-based) on billing and AR processes
• Maintain accurate collection records and customer communication
• Proactively reduce aged receivables and resolve disputes
• Support reporting, project accounting, and month-end close activities
• Assist with audits and compliance reporting
• Provide backup support for sales order processing as needed
• Minimal travel. A valid passport is required for occasional travel to the U.S.
• Occasional paid overtime may be required to support European reporting deadlines.

Compensation:
• Starting salary will be $55,000 to $60,000 commensurate with experience and education
• Eligible for extended benefits after successfully completing 90 days of work.
