Sales Engineer - Guest Room Management System

This position required team member who has skill expertise and experience in hotel room automation, Lighting, 
motion sensors, and HVAC controls with sales skills to sell customized solutions to hotels, developers, and main 
electrical contractors. They act as the technical bridge between the client and the company's product development 
team, focusing on "spec-in" activities to ensure systems are included in project blueprints.

Key Responsibilities
• Technical Sales & Specification: Drive "spec-in" activities by working with consultants, 
architects, and developers to ensure GRMS products are specified in project blueprints.
• Customer Consultation & Demo: Conduct onsite visits and deliver technical 
presentations/demos of room management solutions, including lighting, HVAC, and IoT, to key 
stakeholders.
• Pipeline Management: Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Pipedrive) to manage projects, 
provide regular forecasting, and perform win/loss analysis.
• Proposal Generation: Respond to RFQs (Request for Quotations), generate costings, and 
prepare technical proposals, including Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Project Handover: Manage the transition of awarded projects to commissioning or project 
management teams, ensuring technical requirements are met on-site.
• Market Development: Identify new market segments, maintain competitive intelligence, and 
build relationships with Engineering, IT, Procurement, Contractor, Developer, Designer and hotel 
owners.


Requirements & Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building 
Services, or related field.
• Experience: more than 2 years of experience in technical sales, specifically within Hotel Building 
Automation, HVAC, lighting, or related hotel technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of GRMS protocols, automation, electrical systems, and 
ability to read technical drawings (CAD).
• Skills: Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and communication skills.
• Languages: High proficiency in Englis
