Channel Marketing Intern - Mechanical

Job Summary

 

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Channel Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. You will be integrated into the day-to-day activities of the Channel Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience in the field of Channel Marketing. Must be available to work onsite in our Lake Forest office 3 days a week for our hybrid schedule – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Will be remote Mondays and Fridays.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Support the rollout and auditing of customer POP merchandising/in-store planogramming for resets.
  • Work with cross functional teams analyzing store sales to make merchandising recommendations.
  • Help with the creation of marketing collateral such as price books and brochures.
  • Ensure that marketing content is up-to-date, consistent, and tailored for specific channels.
  • Assist with the development and execution of in-office displays and store sets.
  • Manage storage and fulfilment tasks and relationships with 3rd party vendors.

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Motivated self-starter committed to learning the ins and outs of the Marketing department structure and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in a professional setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Willingness to study reference materials, ask questions and resolve problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to grow from constructive feedback.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of management while being positive and professional.
  • Ability to multi-task & prioritize with excellent follow-through and task completion.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.
  • Flexible and positive attitude; able to work independently and within teams.
