Increase the efficiency and safety of the docking process with the ASSA ABLOY Step Autodock (formerly Crawford)

The Step Autodock provides increased efficiency and safety for the docking process. The design was developed to allow a truck and trailer to fully dock in the loading bay with rear doors closed. Docking first and opening doors later provides a number of benefits where temperature control is concerned. Besides increasing efficiency and safety, it also generates energy savings by restricting thermal losses through open doors, ultimately improving hygiene and working conditions.

It’s the ideal solution for various applications:

  • Hygienic transport when there is a high focus on safety
  • Food logistics which demand an unbroken cold chain
  • Container transport with customs requirements
  • Locations where there is a clear focus on theft prevention

The innovative and unique ASSA ABLOY 950 series docking control system offers complete control of the dock leveller, dock shelter and door, through a single control unit. A few self-explanatory buttons make the system easy to operate, and the need for separate steering units for each system is negated, thereby removing the need for complex wiring systems.
