The SMARTair i-reader enables fast, hassle-free digital access using a range of credentials, including cards, fobs, badges, and mobile keys - with the option to add PIN access via the i-reader Keypad. This added capability gives you more flexibility to adapt access to different spaces, users, and security requirements.

Easy installation, powerful management features

It’s seamless to add an i-reader to any new or existing SMARTair system, whatever management option is in use. It offers real-time control and remote operation in Wireless online mode.

With the i-reader Keypad, access can be extended beyond traditional credentials. Use PIN-only access for shared or low-risk areas, define user PINs for subcontractors or temporary users; or combine PIN + card for additional security in sensitive spaces - all managed within the same SMARTair system. 

Two model sizes and mounts adapts to different locations and applications. For safety and convenience, an i-reader fitted at a parking barrier can detect a driver’s mobile credential from up to 5 metres away.

The i-reader‘s contemporary aesthetics and customizable LED simplify use and blend with other devices in the SMARTair family to harmonize interior design. A robust build quality – including IP56, IK09 certification – minimizes ongoing maintenance needs.

Recognizing a growing focus on sustainability, the i-reader consumes up to 70 percent less energy than previous models. 

With support for PIN, card, mobile, or combined authentication, the i-reader adapts to evolving security needs over time.
