Pre Sales Specialist

What You Will Do

We are looking for an individual who is technically savvy, highly motivated and passionate about the next generation of networking products and cloud solutions. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to team up with our sales team and perform technical pre-sales activities for new and existing opportunities. You will be based in your home office with travel to customer sites.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Nomadix’s solutions and our competitors' offerings, clearly demonstrate the benefits to our partners.
  • Build product documentation for customers and perform competitive analysis regarding competing products
  • Provide technical mentorship to channel partners and assist them in successfully selling and deploying the Nomadix Solutions
  • Provide training and user adoption for our products both in-person and remotely

Who You Are

Technical subject matter authority, thoroughly understanding products, features, functions, and benefits while being able to communicate to all level customers. Understand customer requirements for gateway, cloud and networking products within the Nomadix portfolio.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of wired and wireless networks, routing/switching VLAN's and captive portals
  • Understanding of current security trends
  • Consistent track record of 5-10 years in a pre-sales technical role (solutions architect, systems engineer, sales engineer, etc)
  • Hospitality experience preferred, either working in a technical role or solution design within a partner of hospitality or MTU
  • Experienced knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networks, site surveys, requirements gathering, deployment challenges
  • Knowledge of sales cycle, strong verbal and written communication skills, and validated negotiation techniques
  • Strong relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience, presentation skills and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Ability to travel
  • BS or MS degree in business, computer engineering or computer science preferred but not required
