555 PLUS Series - Fail secure dropbolts

The 555 PLUS Series narrow stile fail secure dropbolts allow internal doors to be safely closed even in situations where there is a power failure.

Mechanical operation is by means of a key or knob, and electronic operation by means of an electrical impulse. It can be mounted either vertically or horizontally.

The lock is prepared for the insertion of a Euro-profile cylinder and arms the moment the power supply is interrupted, ensuring that people inside cannot leave unless authorised.

They are available in two versions, with a semi-cylindrical deadbolt or with a latch bolt (both made of saw-proof carbonitrided steel), while a magnetic sensor located inside and/or outside the dropbolt allows the door status to be monitored at all times.

The lock's electronic components are in SMT microprocessor technology. This enables protection against polarity reversal through the following functions:

• Opening command from the NO button.
• In the event of a power failure, the deadbolt or the latchremain withdrawn, keeping the door secure.
• Automatic reclosing adjustable from 1 to 5 seconds when the door leaf is approached, and from 1 to 3 minutes if the leaf is not opened.
• Prepared for cascade connection to achieve operation of up to 4 interlocked doors.
