D81 - Narrow stile mortise lock with hook bolt

D81 narrow stile mortise locks have a cylinder locking mechanism (compatible with Euro-profile or cross key cylinders) and are designed for mortise installation on aluminium doors.

They have a swinging or hook bolt and a reversible design for use on right and left-handed doors. They are available in 25 to 35 mm backset sizes and come with a flat face plate cover.

They are available in different versions to suit different locking requirements:

• with latch and bolt and upper and lower deadbolt engagement points (provision for 3 locking points);
• with latch and bolt only (1 locking point);
• with hook bolt and upper and lower bolt engagement points (provision for 3 locking points);
• with hook bolt only (1 locking point);

In the latch and deadbolt version, the latch can be replaced with a roller (the two accessories are interchangeable) or the latch can be removed and the model converted to a standard deadbolt-only version by occluding the hole with the cap provided. The depth of the latch and roller are adjustable.

The D81 lock's latch has a Comfort system that not only reduces the noise of the door closing, but also limits wear on the striking plate and minimises friction.
