The SHK100 Swing Handle is battery-powered and has a real-time clock. Its use is recorded as an audit trail in the event log, which can be used to trace anomalies, for example. If the battery is depleted, the handle can be operated with a backup power source.
The product can be ordered with a built-in mechanical backup. This allows the handle to be opened with a mechanical key, if necessary. Thanks to its batteries, the handle records audit trails even when it is used with a key, maintaining situational awareness.
