Logistics Clerk I - 2nd Shift

Curries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is looking for a Logistics Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping/Logistics team on 2nd shift. This role will be based is an on-site at our manufacturing facility located in Mason City, Iowa.

What would you do as our Logistics Shipping Clerk?
You’ll compile and organize orders for shipment, interact with team members and departments, and coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.

 

You would also:

  • Prepare and complete bills of lading for shipments
  • Process customer shipping orders and load tickets for full and partial shipments
  • Enter daily trailer inventory data into Excel and share with relevant departments
  • Notify carriers and drivers of shipments when necessary
  • Verify orders/loads for accuracy and release for invoicing
  • Complete daily weight sheets (2nd shift only)
  • Maintain trailer inventory records and email updates
  • Support quality standards and initiate corrective actions when needed
  • Work safely and follow all company policies
  • Special assignments as assigned
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

 

The Skills and Experience You Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate computer and office equipment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
